Add detection to the side view

The camera shows the area beside the vehicle. AI-assisted detection provides additional driver support, depending on the model’s functions.

  • Monitored zones, alerts and connections are selected for the model and vehicle configuration.
  • The choice of monitor, warning device and connections determines the alerts available in the cab.

An example: Brigade VBV-3201C-AI / 8156

This model uses human form recognition (HFR) to help detect pedestrians, cyclists and workers in the monitored side zone. The following specifications apply specifically to this model.

  • Configurable detection zone up to 15 m.
  • 720p AHD image: 1280 × 720 pixels.
  • Power supply: 10 to 32 V DC.
  • IP69K protection rating.
  • Operating temperature: −20 °C to +70 °C.
  • In-cab alerts depending on the connected monitor or warning device.

Plan the installation for your fleet

Mounting locations, detection zones and cables are defined for the vehicles and their use. The system assists the driver and does not control the vehicle; the driver must remain alert and responsible for all manoeuvres.
